Things To Do in Edinburgh at Night

Pub Crawls

Whiski Bar & Restaurant

A whisky bar that’s won awards – that’s how good it is. You’ll find it on the Royal Mile where you’ll find excellent food at their all day dining bar. There’s also 300 malt whiskies and some imaginative cocktails with local beers and quality wine. There’s seafood and meat, which has all been locally sourced and their delicious haggis of course.


A live music bar in Edinburgh with 4 live bands until 3am in the morning and at the weekends up to 6 acts. There’s also free entry before midnight. There’s also some great drinks promotions before 8pm most days. You’ll find Whistlebinkies on 4-6 South Bridge Street.

The Dome

This is a bar, restaurant that has been doing business since 1996. It’s a great place to meet for cocktails, lunch or just coffee. It also has its own conference suites and private dining facilities and because of these beautifully decorated rooms, it can easily accommodate training courses, dinners, wedding receptions and other celebrations. The Stand Comedy Club

The Devil's Advocate

A bar and restaurant that’s to be found in the old part of Edinburgh that’s been built in a Victorian pump house tucked into Advocates Close. There’s excellent dining facilities as well as excellent food which boasts locally sourced food, so the menu is always seasonal with Scottish ingredients that change each month.

The Jazz Bar

This is a jazz club with a difference, with funk, soul, blues, acoustic and fusion too, so you’ll get jazz and everything else. There’s local live music and international acts are featured too. There are gigs here every night all week, 7 nights a week all year round, so you’re never short of entertainment.

Krafty Brew

You’ll find the Krafty Brew at 11 Stewartfield, and here you can learn how to brew beer yourself, as well as taste other beers too. An excellent night out and a novel change from just drinking beer.

Marco's Pool Hall & Pizza Bar

A Pool Hall and Pizza Bar where you can enjoy some indoor pool and have a delicious pizza. Its interior décor is that of a traditional American pool hall with some great food and bar. It’s modern without abandoning its traditional pool hall feel. There are 18 tables here with multi coloured LED lights.
